We believe that people are more passionate about species when they can connect with them.
Face to Face
Looking closely at two different levels of landscape facing each other. On one level there is a vibrant green and abundance of live within the near forest and uncut land. On the other hand, there is a flattened and built upon area, providing life for the dominate species of the planet.
Depending on who you talk to there is beauty on both sides. This gallery represents coexisting in an ever-changing world. Making room for a higher population will be required, however, without adjustments to take account for the local flora and fauna we may lose it all together.
I purposefully started the film and photography to show you not only a visible division between nature and infrastructure but also a before and after. Including both plants and animals that have ecosystems affected by this transformation.
My hope is to strike conversation and catalyst that into action, showing exactly what will start to spread and take over all of the environment that is left.
